I can’t wait to listen to this.
1. Return of the Living Dead: This is one of the coolest movies I have ever seen. It’s a brilliant concept: badly dressed punks having their brains eaten by talking zombies set to an awesome punk soundtrack. Just. Brilliant. “Send more paramedics.”
2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre II: I love, love, love this movie. It’s great for exactly the opposite reasons that the first film is great.
3.Night of the Creeps: It’s got everything: a slasher killer, aliens, zombies, and a freaking cool lead. “Thrill me.”
4. Basket Case: Um…
5. Bad Taste: The image of The Beatles in front of the BREAD van makes me giggle every time. Just keep in mind, this is the guy who made Lord of the Rings.
General Comments:
I wish Troma Studios had made Human Centipede. Think about that.
I’m not going to lie: I have gone to midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show in costume.
Honorable Mentions: Chopping Mall, anything distributed by Troma, Jason Takes Manhattan (for the death by electric guitar scene).
