1. Repulsion: There are no words.
2. Taxi Driver: Oh, Travis Bickle, I so love watching you lose your mind.
3. The Exorcist: This is not really a film about a demon possessing a little girl. It’s about Damien Karras and his crisis of faith. The book makes this more clear, but you get the idea.
4. Peeping Tom: This came out the same year as Psycho. No matter how much I watch it, I just can’t believe those two films came out in 1960. Also, 4b. Psycho. I cheated.
5. Videodrome: David Cronenberg, you never stop making me feel icky. Thanks a bunch.
6. Silence of the Lambs: What more can I say?
7. Memento: Funny story, my parents have received this movie from Netflix three times over the last two years. They can never remember that they have seen it.
8. Black Swan: Ugh, shiver. This film made me reconsider my disdain for Natalie Portman.
9. Old Boy: This is another film you don’t want to give away the ending to. Holy crap. It’s the second in Park Chanwook’s vengeance trilogy.
10. Jacob’s Ladder: So scary and sad.
