It’s almost impossible to talk about DC without mentioning Marvel, These two comic book giants have been locked in battle for decades. Although in recent years its been pretty much one sided. With Marvel wrapping up its massively successful Phase 3 of movies with Avengers: Endgame it has left a void in the comic book genre. Capitalizing on this DC seems to be going all in on righting the ship and stepping up to meet Marvel head on! How do they do that? The Snyder cut of Justice League! Maybe? Or how about a former angsty vampire as The Batman? Better yet go the “If you can’t beat em! Hire em route!” and grab one of Marvels most beloved directors! Is this enough for DC to rise again? The dust has finally settled from the fallout of the Marvel / Disney feud with Sony over Spider-Man. We’ve had time to reflect on what matters most. Who Won!! Just when we thought everything was right in the world! The joint production of Marvel/Disney and Sony’s Spider-Man: Far From Home had broken the 1 billion dollar mark at the box office, triggering what we thought was a clause that would allow Spidey to remain in the MCU for one more movie! And of course with prospect of billions and billions of dollars to be made with Spider-Man fully entrenched in the MCU a deal for future joint productions would surely get done. Right?
