I’m so counting on this one to totally make up for Mockingjay Part 1. One was a feeble attempt to follow up on what was a truly great film: Catching Fire. Join me at the theater November 20th to see the latest, and hopefully, the greatest Hunger Games. (Say hi, I’ll be in the third row center)

I think I’m finally sold on this one. I love Matt Damon and he’s finally showing some attitude in this latest trailer!  I’m definitely gonna be in line the first day for The Martian. I’ll be there October the 2nd!

I still can’t get over the dubious casting or problematic changes in concept to the film, but I am a comic movie junkie so count me in. But if you expect to come with me, you buy the popcorn. At least you better block Jeremy when he throws it at me. See ya there August 7th.

Okay, I promise, this movie will make a ton at the box office…unfortunately so. San Andreas will probably be the most physically (and geologically) impossible catastrophe movie ever made and spawn more of the same. I trust that people will see it in droves, without any thought to the logic inspiring it. What will be unbearable, at least to me, is the presence of Dwayne Johnson.

It makes a bad disaster film somewhat tolerable, should there be an excellent actor, but when a pure action hero shows up it usually makes a disaster film a mockery. I hearken to The Day After Tomorrow. Dennis Quaid is hardly an excellent actor but he brought some gravitas to an otherwise ludicrous attempt. I bemoan the choice of “The Rock,” but, oh well, I’ll be there the first weekend. Stay tuned for the review! See you there May 29th!

Ex Machina looks creepy good, but I’m not sure it’s for everyone. That said, it’s definitely for me. I love the edgy feel of “real” Sci-Fi and love the idea and reality of this film. Stay tuned for my review when this one comes out! Now I just have to hunt it down so I can watch it.

Another action junkie special, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation looks like great fun! I’m definitely going to be there opening night. Enjoy the trailer and I’ll see you at the movie: July 31st, 2015.
